  • SCMC Dates (the "Event")
    February 7th to the 8th, 2022 (Registration will begin on 6th)
  • Which Hotel is this at?
    Kalahari Resorts & Convention Center in Round Rock, Texas
  • Is there a roomblock?
    There is - $159 plus $30 Resort Fee ($189 Total) - Booking Information Here 
  • Which Airport to fly into?
    AUS - Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (28 Miles Away from Kalahari Resort)

Tickets and Registration

  • What is the price difference between In Person and Virtual Event Tickets?
    In Person Tickets are $299 and Virtual Tickets are $199.
    VIP Tickets are $799
  • With COVID 19 being prevelent, if I am no longer able to make the February event, can my tickets roll over to the next event.
    Yes, if you are not able to attend the February event and do not wish to attend virtually, you can transfer to the next SCMC.
  • What is the Refund Policy?
    If you require a refund, you must contact us no later than December 29, 2021 (40 days before the Event)
  • I live outside of the United States, do you have special pricing based on our exchange rate?
    No, all tickets are priced in USD.
  • How can I buy bulk tickets?
    Please, contact us via email: info@scottsconference.com
    Please, note, there is no discount for bulk tickets. All tickets are priced according to the attendance choice.
  • If I select in-person, but get COVID a few days before the Event, can I attend the Virtual Event instead?
    Yes, we will convert your ticket into a virtual ticket.
  • What happens if the Event is unable to happen due to Covid?
    If due to COVID, we are unable to hold a live event, your ticket will be converted into a Virtual Ticket, wher eyou will have an amazing Virtual Experience.
  • Can I purchase a ticket onsite the day of the event?
    We are hoping that this is an option for us, but there may be new protocols that do not allow for us to sell directly onsite at the event, so we'd recommend you purchase your ticket in advance.
  • My country does't allow travel, how can I attend?
    If you are unable to attend the Event in person, you can purchase a virtual ticket and attend that way.

Event General Questions

  • What is the deadline for deciding if I will be attending in person or virtually?
    January 31, 2021 is the deadline of notifying us in you will be attending in person or virtually.  This will allow enough time to plan accordingly and make sure your SWAG is ordered and shipped.
  • Are there COVID-related restrictions about who can attend?
    Please, defer to your local jurisdiction to determine if restrictions apply.  For the Mega Farm Tour you will be required to provide proof of a negative test within 72 hours of attending.  We will have tests on-hand if you need one.  If there are questions, please contact us at info@scottsconference.com
  • I have moved since purchasing anything from Scotts Crypto, how can I update my address?
    There will be a form in your members area where you can update your shipping address.
  • Are there sponsorship or exhibition opportunities for my business?
    If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, please, reach out to info@scottsconference.com 
  • What is the Event schedule going to be?
    Registration will start on February 6 around noon and will continue through February 7.
    Event will kick off at 9 AM sharp on February 7 and will conclude on February 8 (after the Paul Oakenfold show)
    A high level daily schedule is provided above and in the members area, but plan on concluding later into the evening each day.
    We do reserve the right to change this schedule at any time.
  • Does the hotel offer free parking?
    The Kalahari does offer free parking.  More Kalahari FAQs can be found on their website
  • Are pets allowed at the Event?
    No, the Kalahari does NOT allow pets in their hotel.
    If you have a service animal, please, reach out to us in advance so we can help coordinate.
  • Will there be an opportunity to meet any of the speakers?
    All meet and greets will need to be scheduled prior to the event in the members area, as they become available.  There may be fees associated with them.
  • Will any meals be provided with my Event Ticket?
    There will be some food provided at different networking events during SCMC, but you are typically responsible for your own meals.
  • What is the difference between IN PERSON and VIRTUAL tickets?
    Both experiences are going to be amazing!  The difference is: in person, you will be in Red Rock, Texas at the event space; virtual can be watched anywhere in the world where there is internet access :)
  • Will all of the speakers be present at the event or will they present over zoom on tv/big screen?
    We are hoping to have all speakers in person at Scott's Crypto Mining Conference, but we have learned over the last 18 months that things can change.
  • Will there be a conference app that we can download?
    Yes, there will be a version of an app that will be available inside the members area with instructions.
  • Who are the speakers this year?
    We will be releasing the entire speaker lineup closer to the Event.
  • How many people will be at this Event?
    With the current guidelines in place, we plan on having about 1,000 people attending LIVE. Of course, this number is subject to change.
  • Are we allowed to record audio/video at the event?
    No, recording or live streaming of the event is strictly prohibited in most speaker areas.  We encourage you to take pictures!
  • Is there a Facebook Group or Telegram Group for SCMC?
    There is!  There are more details inside of the members area after you purchase your ticket?

Age Limitations

  • Is there an age limit to attend?
    There is no age limit to attend.  If you are under 18 years old, however, you must attend with your legal guardian.
  • Can I bring my baby/kids?
    We are promoting a family friendly event where your family can enjoy all of the amenities of the Kalahari Resort, but we are asking that your children do not attend the speaker presentations.  If you have a unique circumstance and you need to bring your child, please, contact us by January 21 at info@scottsconference.com and we will consider your request.

Seating

  • If I come in person will I be guaranteed to sit in the Main/Large Ballroom for speakers?
    We intend on making the in person experience amazing for everyone that attends.  As things continue to shift and change with Covid, so will configuration for the event.  But we plan and hope on everyone being able to see LIVE speakers if they attend in person.
  • Is there a VIP/Preferred seating area?
    There is!  If you are hold a VIP ticket, you will be have reserved seating as long as you attend the speaking events on time.  We will be filling empty seats if they are available.
  • Can I purchase a VIP ticket if I already purchased my regular ticket?
    Yes!  Please, contact us at info@scottsconference.com and we will help you with that.
  • Do you make special accomodations for those with physical limitations?
    Yes. Special Early Access is available.  Please, reach out to info@scottsconference.com

Safety

  • What covid protocols will be in place?
    We will follow the State and Hotel Guidelines/Regulations at the time of the event.  For the Mega Farm Tour, we will follow their protocols and guidelines, too.  More information will be provided as appropriate.
  • Are you going to be enforcing a mask policy?
    We will be following State/City/Hotel guidelines for masks and overall safety. Our ability to host this event will be determined by following the rules and regulations at the time of the event.
  • Can you tell me what health and safety precautions are going to be in place?
    We will continue to analyze and make determination on appropriate precautions.
    Masks and hand sanitizer will be available. We will also be adhering to Texas' and the hotels policies and guidelines that are in place at the time of the event.
  • Do I need a Vaccine to attend?
    If at the Event, please provide us with notice; we will send out more details closer to the Event.
    If you get sick before the Event (see above).
    If you get sick at the Event, we ask that you notify us and do not attend

Where Does The Conference Take Place?
Scott's Crypto Mining Conference will take place in Round Rock, Texas at Kalahari Resorts and Conventions. Being an indoor waterpark, it's a great place to bring the whole family!
How Do I Watch And Participate In The Presentations?
If you're with us in person during the convention, feel free to attend any events you'd like! If you purchase a Virtual Ticket, you will be given access to livestreams of all panels, workshops, and keynote speaker presentations. 
What If Can’t Attend All The Presentations?  Will There Be A Replay?
Recordings will be available to purchase. You can rewatch all sessions so you don’t miss ANYTHING and can share with your team. More details on how to purchase your Scott's Crypto Mining Conference recordings will be available closer to the event.
